TRIP TV is a fantasy TV station.

Imagine Discovery channel meets Vice.

TRIP TV covers urban exploration and decay, abandoned architecture, parkour, geocaching, international travel, extreme sports, global cultural exchange, and a love for the adrenaline rush.

Here is a sizzle reel, a few bumpers, and some visual branding elements. I’ve summed up the video in a few gifs.

Motion Graphics: a title sequence that introduces the novel Wicked by Gregory Maguire.

Some basic motion graphics work that I've done. The bounding balls was an exercise in expressing emotion through objects in motion.

From top to bottom, the emotions depicted are: Furious, Ecstatic, and Lethargic. 

The video is a practice MoGraph, and very short. It is meant to evoke a sample of a musical or audio piece

A motion video for the fantasy festival "Mariana Trance". I came up with the artist line-up, created the vector images in Illustrator, and animated in After Effects.

Something a little silly

The fabulous cousin of the garden-variety pot.

Shrub Club is a series of plant pots that combine two shapes to create a form of simple geometric elegance. Its shape is different enough from that of a typical pot to justify its creation.

The challenge in this project was to create a plant pot that could be folded from a single die-cut sheet. The use of glue was prohibited in the name of eco-friendliness. At the same time, it had to retain the ability to be attention-grabbing.

The challenge in this project was to take a handful of random items — two salt shakers and four gum balls — and create a product and a package from it.

This package utilizes the paper wrapping technique to give it a higher level of finish. I also built a hinge mechanism into the die-cut so that the objects flip out for presentation.
